For this recent trip, we chose a dry day and headed out to Dalton.
It was with a bit of trepidation after seeing some write ups that the zoo had had. We went with an open mind and enjoyed the sketching and company of the animals. I have written in more detail about this in my Reflective Journal.

Lioness
Jaguars
Giant Otter. He was very friendly and seemed to like our company. We enjoyed his for half an hour.
Baboon
Honey Badger. These were very active and seemed a bit agitated.
We left the zoo with a bitter sweet feeling..
